The Inter Club Match is an event which is held every three years.  A unique feature of the InterClub match is that the judge, who comes from abroad is kept secret until the match has been opened.  Each Club puts forward a team of dogs in different classes. There are usually four or five classes spread over heats with each club having a dog representing them in each heat.

The winners from heat then are judged again to produce a class winner.  Finally, all class winners are judged to produce the Best in Match, there is also a Best Veteran in Match and Best Puppy.

The winning Club are then the hosts for the next Interclub Match.  It has a fantastic atmosphere giving members the opportunity to socialise more than is usually possible at shows.
