1st Jeffery’s Mirengo’s Machinga at Rexgrove, Well boned 8 month old who immediately catches the eye, super head with good width of skull, good stop. Correct bite, nice long neck onto correct shoulder placement, good chest infill, tight feet, nice depth of chest and correct ribbing, level topline, correct tail insertion, lean muscular hindquarters and good bend of stifle and low set hocks. Moved out well in profile, both coming and going straight.

2nd Simpson’s Renescent Jolly Roger, Another well boned 8 month old, correct head type, correct bite, good length of neck, correct shoulder placement, well filled in forechest , good depth of chest to elbows, slightly longer in body than 1, level topline, with nicely angulated hindquarters, moved out well, straight coming and going.

1st Healey’s Diamondridge Catch A Dream, Masculine head, clean muzzle and correct bite, good neck, well-boned front with a good infill of chest, good depth of chest to elbows, level topline, lean muscled quarters, good bend of stifle, nice low hock, moved out well.

2nd Mitchelson’s Diamondridge Dream Chaser At Voortrekker, Masculine head with slightly darker muzzle, correct bite, good length of neck, nicely boned front, good depth of chest, level topline, well muscled quarters with good bend of stifle, just lost out on movement today.

Post Graduate Dog

1st Collie’s Kitoko Uptown Funky Fritz, Masculine head, correct stop, good bite, good reach of neck onto correct shoulder placement, well boned front with good infill, tight feet, good depth of chest, level topline, correct tail insertion, lean muscled quarters with good bend of stifle, low set hocks, moved out well, straight coming and going.

2nd Barnard’s Carlincox First Encounter, Dark red wheaten dog, houndy head type, good stop, nice length of neck onto correct shoulder placement, nice chest infill, tight feet, good length of ribbing, level topline and lean muscled quarters with good bend of stifle. Just behind 1 in movement.

1st Maidment’s Amahle Ayo A 2 year old dog of both quality and substance, light wheaten in colour, lovely hound head type, ideal width across the skull, good chiselling, correct amount of stop, clean muzzle, correct bite, lovely crested neck onto correct shoulder placement, well-boned gun barrel front, tight feet, ideal depth of chest to elbows and ribbed back well, good length of loin, level topline , correct tail insertion , lean muscled quarters with good 1st and 2nd thigh, correct angulation and low set hocks. Moved out like a dream in side profile when his head was brought up, straight coming and going. Very pleased to award BD and BIS.

2nd Deacon & Wilding’s Kiromol Kamanga, A 4 year old light wheaten who stands out, plenty of bone, good head type, nice broad skull, good bite, lovely long neck onto good shoulder, well boned front with plenty of forechest, good feet, good depth of chest and ribbed well back, level topline, good length of loin, correct tail insertion, lean muscled and nicely angulated hindquarters, low hocks. Moved out well and in the Challenge came through to go RBD

2nd Deacon and Wilding’s Kiromol Kindred Spirit Sh.CM, Red wheaten masculine dog, good width across the skull, correct bite, good length of neck onto shoulder, deep chest infill, well boned front and good depth of chest, lean muscled quarters with good bend of stifle and low set hocks, not quite a smooth and fluid as 1 on the move.

Lovely hound head with good stop and bite, clean neck onto correct shoulder, nice infill of chest and well boned front, good feet, good depth of chest, level topline and clean lean muscled rear quarters, low set hocks. Moved out well and with purpose in his class and his 2 challenges. BVD & BVIS

2nd Hawkins Veldtkammer Hot Shot of Lonaza Sh.CM, Masculine head with good stop, good reach of neck, correct lay of shoulder, well boned front with good infill, good depth of chest and ribbed back well, level topline, nicely angled rear quarters and low set hocks, moved out well in profile.

Special Veteran Dog or Bitch

1st Coyne’s Ozubi’s Maigold Eleven year old feminine bitch who moved out superbly, lovely feminine head , long clean neck onto correctly angulated shoulder, good forechest, ideal depth of chest and ribbing. Level topline and nicely muscled rear quarters with good bend of stifle and low set hocks. Moved out with grace and purpose, a delight to watch. BVB

1st Hicks’s Nuthouse Queen of Clubs, 9 month old quality bitch with a feminine hound head, good stop and correct bite, good reach of neck onto a correct lay of shoulder, well boned front with good infill, deep chest and well ribbed back, level topline, correct tail insertion, nicely angulated lean muscled rear quarters and low set hocks, moved out smoothly and with purpose, straight coming and going. Deep capacious chest, ribbed back, good topline and tail insert, lean muscled quarters with good bend of stifle, low set hocks. Moved out well in profile and straight coming and going.

2nd Catley’s Diamondridge Roll The Dice For Royalridge, Lovely feminine hound head, good reach of neck with correct shoulder placement, nicely boned front, deep ribbing , level topline, well angulated rear hind quarters with lean muscle, low set hocks, just lost out on the move in a tight contest.
